Triglav, our way
Outbase processes a mosaic of Triglav images, rooted in creativity and the rich expertise of skilled hands
Creating, designing products, and bringing both bold and subtle ideas to life is a wonderful process—one that brings joy to the creator on one side and to the buyer, the product’s owner, on the other. Triglav products are more than just items; they are the result of a carefully planned process driven by a shared vision: embracing the strong symbolism of Triglav, using natural materials, and crafting by hand to create pieces designed for everyday use.
This is a blend of artistic and artisan work—a transformation of natural materials rooted in a commitment to sustainability and respect for the environment
Maja Orehek
Maja Orehek found inspiration for the design in the Slovenian symbol – the highest mountain in Slovenia. Triglav is a mighty mountain, just like Slovenian national consciousness is mighty.
The guiding principle in the production of items is the love for nature and wood and uniqueness, as the three peaks in the form of key hangers, shelf holders, boards, magnets and key chains are dressed in white, snow, which is unique every time due to hand painting.
The products are made from Slovenian walnut wood, which surprises every time with its structure – pattern, and also illustrates the diversity of Slovenia and its natural features.
Many people conquer the summit and feel pride, joy and achievement of their goal. Reaching the top of Triglav is not easy, but it is possible. Each of us has our “Triglavs” on the path of life. Challenges that at first we don’t believe we will overcome. It’s worth a try. Your strength may surprise you.
Win. Be strong. Go to the top!

Daša Kogoj
From the very first touch with clay, Daša Kogoj knew that this was the one, true love. The positive energy she gets every time she is in contact with this beautiful gift of nature is priceless. New and unique creations are always born from this.
It all starts with a pile of kneaded clay. It is very important that the clay is properly and sufficiently kneaded. After placing the ball on the spinning wheel, she begins to work it with both hands. Slowly. She prefers to “shape” several times, rather than forcing the clay too quickly into something she doesn’t want. Clay has a very good memory. When it reaches the desired shape, it is placed on a board from the spinning wheel and then rests for a day or so to dry to the point where it can start turning. In this phase, the product gets its final appearance. This is followed by the first and second baking, which ensure that the product is suitable for use.
Dasha prefers to make cups. Otherwise, bowls of all types and sizes, plates, containers with lids for sugar or coffee, salt shakers, vaporizers,… in short, everything that can be turned, is born on the spinning wheel.

Špela Orešnik
Hand felting is an ancient technique of making goods from raw sheep’s wool, which Špela Orešnik encountered for the first time in 2004. She was immediately fascinated by felting, as each product combines nature, tradition and art. Since then, she has been working on it more or less intensively and upgrading her knowledge. During this time, she learned about and tested many techniques and felting materials, and tested various effects that can be obtained on the felt surface. She lives in the midst of unspoilt nature, so this is her biggest inspiration. She also likes to combine wool with other natural materials.
In her studio in Solčava, she produces a whole range of unique useful and decorative woolen products. Špela says: “It’s a good feeling when you make something useful and unique by yourself, only with your own hands. In addition, wool is healing and has a beneficial effect on our well-being, so it should not be missing in any home.”

Brina Srebre in Jasmina Padar
Brina and Jasmina, Slovenian designers, have created a products with a love for nature, design and handwork. The journey began in 2015, somewhere below Triglav, when the two creators of the unique products asked themselves a puzzle: How to capture the elusive spirit of the mountains and transfer it to the everyday life of nature lovers?
They combined the wild beauty of the Julian Alps with the quiet magic of the countryside and created a product that is not only a decoration, but also a tribute to the breathtaking landscapes that our country has to offer. The Triglav pillow, filled with spelt husks and lavender flowers, has taken on a life of its own and is the most recognizable product of Triglav.

Tadeja Nemček

Polona Remic
Polona Remic focuses on making unique handmade jewelry with a deeper meaning. She began her creative journey more than fifteen years ago, when she started making jewelry from polymer clay. Over time, she developed a minimalistic style of jewelry that carries a message within it – either in the form of a hidden inscription in Morse code, or in personalized cards that complement the jewelry. Polona believes that every piece of jewelry can carry a story that connects, motivates and inspires.
Her vision is to create jewelry that goes beyond mere aesthetic value and becomes a personal experience for the wearer. She puts her passion, attention to detail and desire to make people feel connected to each piece she makes – whether it’s with people, special moments in their lives or the values they strive to live by. Her jewelry is thus more than just a fashion accessory; it is a gift that carries a story, connects people and gives them positive energy.

Aja Bohinjc
Aja Bohinjc grew up next to her father’s construction and carpentry workshop, which he also inherited from his father. Despite this, she decided to become an engraver, and then learned the skills of chiselling in Kropa, the “cradle of blacksmithing”. Making jewelry and creating products in copper are both her job and her hobby. In jewelry, the knowledge of engraving and sculpting is combined, which gives endless possibilities in design, and even more, one’s own imagination and freedom in creating and testing new forms and techniques.
When designing and manufacturing decorative products in copper, main focus is the usability of the product as well as what the item is trying to communicate. Since these products are mostly intended for gifting, it is important to her that the product is useful or that it carries a certain message.
Copper has a beautiful reddish brown color and its properties make it a versatile metal. It is considered one of the oldest metals and, of course, it has also been used to make jewelry since the beginning. Due to its softness and flexibility, it enables different designs, as well as different color shades, which can be obtained with different treatments. Copper jewelry also has many health benefits. Wearing copper jewelry is said to alleviate the problems of arthritis and rheumatic diseases, help in cleaning the wastes from the body and increase energy and reduce various inflammations.
